Izzy's 1st birthday
This is a birthday cake for Izzy's first birthday. The theme is Draco the Dragon from BabyTV.
The cake is a 8" x 8" chocolate and vanilla marble sponge cake, covered in buttercream icing.
The decorations are made of fondant icing using the runout method.
Maisy for Sydney
William's Plane, Train, Boat and Car
This is William's second birthday cake. He loves vehicles and I tried to incorporate as many of them in the cake as possible.
The cake are chocolate sponge (12" square and 8" round) covered in buttercream and decorated to look like the ground (green) and sky (blue).
The vehicles are all made of chocolate sponge cakes and covered with fondant icing and painted with edible colouring.
Special touches include the boat named "William", the car's number plate says "Foo" and the train has a number 2 in the front.

This is a cake for Tanya's friend Katherine's 30th birthday.
The piping is pink buttercream icing.

This cake is for Katerina's first birthday on 24 June 2009.

Bees and Hunny
Hannah had a second birthday party on 15 May 2009 and this time her mom requested for cupcakes. As her theme is Winnie the Pooh, I thought it'd be nice to have bees, hunny and flowers (rather than the actual Pooh characters).
The decorations are made of marzipan and fondant icing.
Hannah's Eeyore
This cake is for Hannah's first birthday on 9 May 2009.
The picture of Eeyore is made of piped icing using the run out method.

Uncle Bernard's 80th
I made this cake for Uncle Bernard's 80th birthday party on 14 March 2009, as a gift to him.
The decoration is simple, but includes a bottle of wine and some king prawns on a plate, being his favourite drink and food.

Alfie's In the Night Garden
This is Alfie's first birthday cake. He turned one on 4 January 2009.
The theme was "In the Night Garden", being his favourite TV programme.

The cake is a plain sponge cake covered in buttercream icing (piped so that it looked like grass).
The decorations are made of fondant icing.
The characters on the cake are Upsy Daisy and Igglepiggle, and I even included the teeny, tiny Pontipines on the bottom left!
Leo and Brooke's Hansel and Gretel House
This is Leo and Brooke's birthday cake. It is themed around Hansel and Gretel's house for their joint birthday on 7 December 2008.
Leo turned 3 while Brooke turned 1.

One side of the cake is decorated in blue for a boy and the other in pink for a girl.

The decorations were various bits of confectionary items such as mini marshmallows, chocolate fingers, Smarties, jelly babies, laces and chocolate buttons.
Tanya's Chocolate Dream
The cake is chocolate cake covered with rich chocolate ganache and decorated with mini fresh strawberries. The lettering is made of fondant icing.

This is Sydney's birthday cake. He turned one on 19 September 2008.

This is Jay's birthday cake. He turned one on 3 September 2008.
He had his party at Gymboree, and the character on this cake is Gymbo the clown.
