Izzy's 1st birthday

This is a birthday cake for Izzy's first birthday. The theme is Draco the Dragon from BabyTV.

The cake is a 8" x 8" chocolate and vanilla marble sponge cake, covered in buttercream icing.

The decorations are made of fondant icing using the runout method.

Christmas Cupcakes

These are cupcakes I made for Christmas. I piped a tree on each cupcake so that the kids can decorate them with sprinkles and confectionary.

The cakes are plain sponge and the trees are buttercream icing.

Joseph and Martha's Christening

These are cakes for Joseph's (3) and Martha's (18 months) joint christening.

The cakes are 7" hexagons. One of them is a vanilla sponge and the other is a lemon sponge.

The cakes are covered and decorated with fondant icing. The figurines on the cakes are handmade out of fondant icing.

Poppy and Alan's Elephants

These are Poppy and Alan's wedding cakes, in the shape of elephants which she loves.

One of the cake is a vanilla sponge and the other is chocolate sponge. Both cakes are about 12" square, and carved into shape.

The cakes are covered and decorated with fondant icing.
The colour scheme is red, green and gold.

Sharon

This is a wedding cake I decorated for Sharon.

The cakes (6", 8" and 10") were made by Sharon and she covered them in buttercream icing ready for me to decorate.

The cakes are then covered and decorated in white fondant icing.

Maisy for Sydney

This is Sydney's second birthday cake. The theme is Maisy, and the idea to have a cake in the cake.

When viewed from the top, it looks 2D, but when viewed from the side, the cake on the picnic is actually a cake and therefore 3D.

The cake is a 10" x 10" chocolate sponge covered in buttercream icing.

The decorations are made of fondant icing using the runout method, and the little cake is a little piece covered in fondant icing.

William's Plane, Train, Boat and Car

This is William's second birthday cake. He loves vehicles and I tried to incorporate as many of them in the cake as possible.

The cake are chocolate sponge (12" square and 8" round) covered in buttercream and decorated to look like the ground (green) and sky (blue).

The vehicles are all made of chocolate sponge cakes and covered with fondant icing and painted with edible colouring.

Special touches include the boat named "William", the car's number plate says "Foo" and the train has a number 2 in the front.
